HOUSING & HEALTHCARE
Healthcare isn’t broken. It’s being protected. Politicians might say it’s a right, but they continue to defend a system that puts insurers and pharma first. The result is denied care for patients and comfort for those in power.
HOW TO FIX IT
Introduce and forcing a floor vote on single-payer legislation.
Strip PAYGO and cost-offset excuses, and publicly commit to vote against any budget that put corporate profits in front of care.
ICE & UNCHECKED
EXECUTIVE POWER
Trump didn’t invent unchecked executive power. Congress did. He just showed how easily it could be abused. Complaints and tweets do not matter if the funding and authority keep flowing.
HOW TO FIX IT
Defund abusive agencies like DHS and ICE, by saying no to Omnibus spending bills that prop them up.
Introduce legislation that legally separates ICE from DHS funding, and ban all internal fund transfers
to ICE.
WEALTH INEQUALITY
Extreme wealth concentration isn’t a glitch. It’s enforced. When money buys influence, democracy stops working for the public.
HOW TO FIX IT
Pass a constitutional amendment to overturn Citizens United.
Cap political spending.
Tax extreme wealth and billionaires so economic power can’t drown out the public.
